Perkins is most well known as a member of the great Muddy Waters Band, and has also been inducted into the Blue's Foundation's Blues Hall Of Fame in Memphis. Heritage Of The Blues compiles all of the recordings that Perkins made for producer Matt Block in 1996 & 1997 in Chicago. These remastered recordings feature his distinctive piano style and vocals. 15 tracks. Hightone. 2003.
