"Excellent piano blues by a performer in his mid-70s - pay attention to the better reviews; this album is a 'bulleted' 5* recommendation in the All Music Guide to the Blues (meaning the one to start with in exploring this musician) and also a top recommendation in the Rough Guide to the Blues; I'd probably go more for 4* or 4 1/2*, but wanted to 'bump' the rating up to draw attention to this excellent effort!"
