Pierre Dorge is an exhilirating guitarist with an instantly recognizable sound. He and his ensemble deserve to be more widely appreciated. You'll be hard pressed to find many contemporary ensembles that contain so many rare qualities. Not unlike Mingus, or Thelonious Monk, the music is simultaneously classic and cutting edge.This is music that stands the test of time.
