"You will never hear Mussorgsky's "Pictures" the same way again. Even if you have this piece, and perhaps, especially if you are familiar with the melodies, you will never, ever be sorry you have this version bravely done for the organ."

"This recording is absolutely amazing! Jean Guillou gives what in my opinion is the greatest piece of organ playing I have ever heard! In Pictures at an Exhibition, Guillou gives a very exciting performance which is registered wonderfully. Guillou's organ playing is bigger than life. This is truly the best recording of Pictures that I posess. Also included are three danses form Petrouchka in which Guillou just amazes me. These works are pose extroardinary technical difficalties for the performer and Guillou just rises above these difficulties with a magnificently orchestral performance!"
