Synopsis

Album Description
"Yummy" was recorded when Pickle was only 1 month old. Craig and Sean had played together for some time, but it wasn't until they met their drummer Bill, that they were ready to move forward. What originally was planned as a demo turned into a full CD project when Wyatt Edenfield was added two weeks before recording. "Yummy" has the tight feel of a studio recording, while not losing the energy and subtle looseness of a live show. This feeling is evident on "Heartache", a rock song with bluesy lyrics that is one of their most popular songs live. The vocals are edgy and strong, the bass line thumps, and the guitar and drums synch perfectly. The high energy feel of their live show is also captured on the final track, "When Ya Comin", which was recorded in one take. Pickle also spends time crafting their songs, and this is most evident on their 7 minute track, "Alone." Don't let the length scare you, the time flies by on this gem as Pickle takes you on a sonic ride,! with perfect tone, soulful vocals and lyrics, and an end that builds up to angelic heights. Pickle is a band that you'll be hearing great things from, and "Yummy" is the album that will let the world know that Pickle has arrived.
