A truly beautiful performance of Con. No. 2

"This CD has been one of the shining stars of my collection for some time. This rendition of the 2nd Piano Concerto is spellbinding. The soloist and the orchestra sing as one in an emotionally satisfying performance. This is a lush and multi-colored version of the Concerto. The performance of the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini is also wonderful. This CD never grows tired and never fails to please. I have always been surprised that Mr. Prats is not a better-known performer, outside of classical musical circles, because he is as gifted as many more well-known artists."
