The working title of this Holiday collection of songs was called Christmas II for a while mainly because it was my second Christmas CD. I then decided to name it after the heart felt arrangement of The First Noel which seemed to fit just right! Featuring the vocals of R&B singer Joaquin, this CD covers a lot of ground stylistically from various musical influences of Jazz, Pop, R&B, Brazilian, Smooth Jazz, Flemenco and Classical. Sorry no rock guitar. Maybe on the next one... There s some upbeat and jazzy toe tappin standards here like Home for the Holidays, Winter Wonderlandand a few new Pop Christmas songs like Let It Snow originally performed by the Backstreet Boys and a rendition of the Natalie Cole version of My Grown-up Christmas List. Ending the collection is the lyrical and ever popular holiday classical piece by J.S. Bach, Jesu, Joy of Man s Desiring.
