Excellent Instrumental Album.

"This is an excellent instrumental album, opening up with "The Prophet". This is a song in which Phil plays a traditional rams' horn. One can feel the power of the music, and presence of God from the opening note!Songs around the middle of the album, take on a quieter, and even light jazz type feel, making this an ideal album to put on as quiet dinner music. This is an album that could be given away to non-Christian friends who appreciate fine music!Excellent album musically, as Phil plays with some world class professional musicians. Phil's lead on the trumpet/horn is nothing short of inspirational!"

""The Quiet" is perhaps Phil's best instrumental album yet. Opening with the powerful shofar on "The Prophet", the song sets the tone for the spiritual/musical journey to come. Truly an ensemble CD, the players read like a whos who of LA session greats: Abraham Laboriel, Alex Acuna, Bill Maxwell and the legendary Billy Preston of Beatles fame.This one is a must for anyone who loves soothing, meditative music to pray, worship, or live by. An excellent choice for a gift for that friend who may not be a Christian but loves new age style music. Way to go Phil, keep flying high with that trumpet!"

"What more can be said about Phill Driscoll? He is not only a very gifted trumpet player and very talented in all aspects of music but, and most importantly, the Lord`s annointing rests heavily on him. He is a real blessing to listen to and become deeply engrossed in his music."
