"I saw Peter Mayer live in a coffeehouse last night... and I fell completely in love with him and his music. There's a story behind every song, and his guitarwork is FANTASTIC!! When you hear Molly O'Malley's or Astronaut Dreams, you hear a drum in the background... that is not drums. That is Mr. Mayer beating on his guitar. He picks, sings, and does incredible beats on his guitar all at once... it's only one man, but he is able to make so many sounds, it's incredible. I was completely speechless after his performance. Not only that, but he is also a very sweet, friendly guy... after the performance, he kindly stuck around to speak to us, and it seemed like he actually wanted to, and he enjoyed it. My friend gave him a hug, and he thought it was great. :-) If this man comes to your city, you MUST see him... it will be one of the great emotional musical experiences of your entire life. Please keep this man in mind... he's a gem. :-)"
