An audiophile quality recording, Firelight Moonlight contains ten brilliant solo acoustic guitar songs. Produced by Peter Janson, the album highlights Janson's prowess as a fingerstyle guitarist, composer and arranger, and was made in just two days and features eight original compositions, an arrangement of traditional Celtic/Folk song Shallow Brown, titled Purpose on this album, and an arrangement of Pierre Bensusan's Wu Wei. Firelight Moonlight received two first round nominations in the 2004 Grammy Awards for Best New Age Album, and Best Engineered Album. It has been aired frequently on the nationally syndicated radio show Echoes, and in Canada on the nationally syndicated radio show Galaxie CBC Digital Radio.
