Where for art thou, Peter?

"Peter Blegvad - king of all... ballads?Peter Blegvad has to be a tough sell. His music is deceptively, gloriously simple. Exquisitly detailed arangements and lyrics float effortlessly over the air. Pay attention! This is deep, deep stuff. Aphorism and LSD trips, pain and angst, its all here in poetry and phillosopy rivialling Mr Nietzche . Mr Blegvad is a demi-god (IMHO), atracting the patronage of other artist - Mr Partridge of XTC for example, but why is he no more popular that he is. I can only guess that he's just too darn hard to pigeon hole. Not folk, not rock, not jazz, just plain good.The art work is also his own (last I know he was also producing a ~interlectual~ cartoon for The Independant, in London."
