CD Reviews

One for the future (from the past) .....
Paul Conneally | Ireland | 04/30/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I connected to Petes music the moment I heard it. He is the very meaning of the true trubador. Nina Simone, Leadbelly, Woodie Guthrie and Dylan all rolled into one. His music brings us back to the Union days of the folkie sixties but its all 21st century. The voice is reminiscent of days gone by but its still fresh and unique. Its a voice older than the years, aged from thousands of barroom gigs across America and beyond. This guy will shine. Buy this Album. It wont dissapoint."
The Best Album of 2008 !

"Pete Molinari's 'A Virtual Landslide' is easily 'the' best album of 2008 hands down. If you love early Bob Dylan from 1965-69 then you're gonna really love this all-new album from Pete. Pete's voice is different from Bob's as you'll hear and, made all his own yet his style of singing will remind you of Dylan and maybe a male Patsy Cline to an extent. The album was recorded at the legendary Toe Rag Studios with vintage EMI 60's recording equipment. 'Sweet Louise' is a certified classic in my book. Look for Pete's videos for a couple of the songs on You Tube. There's not a bad song on the whole album and how many new albums can you buy & listen to today that are good all the way through ? Buy this album now in confidence !"
Fresh Vintage

"Yes, I believe this is fresh vintage. Pete has a way of sounding like the sixties while remaining in the 21st century. The songs are smart, touching and exciting.

Pete sings with a great passion and a determination to have you feel the song.

I would highly recommend this CD.

Buy it people!"
