This CD has recently been given a rave reiview in the 10th Anniversary Issue of Cowboys & Indians Magazine (July 2003). They loved every song and credited Pete, a Nashville Recording Artist as being the only artist to lately be able to "carve out George Strait territory" in the Country Music scene with this record. Pete's music has a traditional Country foundation with an excellent ability to create strong heartfelt ballads and great honky tonk dance hall beats. "I saw Pete sing in Las Vegas at the PBR finals and he really got my attention. Then I read a great write-up in Cowboys & Indians magazine and I agree with every word. This is real traditional country and Pete's warm (sultry) voice is authentic; he's not trying to sound like anyone else. There's a touch of yodle and a bit of twang, just enough to compliment the fiddle and steel. My favorites are the ballads. Wow! When I hear him sing Hank's "I Can't Help if If I'm Still in Love With You" or "That's Where I Want to Take Our Love" I want to cuddle with my honey in the pick-up!"
