Synopsis

Album Description
Essential popular hits are given the essential Faith-plus- chorus treatment; composer Bacharach is back with "Promises, Promises" in an upbeat treatment, and Joni Mitchell's tune "Both Sides Now" brings us the words - and music essential to the times. The Beatles are here with "Fool On The Hill" - which can be heard instrumentally in Percy's "The Beatles Album" which features strings and instrumental solos. 1969 was the year for this album, and the one that follow, "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet." This is the album that brings us the Faith choral version of Max Steiner's "Theme from A Summer Place." Bacharach is back with a Faith essential treatment of "The April Fools," and we hear the dawning-of-a-new-decade "Aquarius." What to hear a Faith tune knock you out of bed in the morning? Set your clock radio/CD player to start with "Good Morning Starshine." (Bill Halvorsen)
