CD Reviews

Don't listen to these people talking about sublime

"I hear so many unfair reviews towards pepper because basically they dont sound like sublime or that they are slipping away from sublime, THEY ARE THEIR OWN BAND! THEREFORE THEIR OWN SOUND! DEAL WITH IT.

But this record is a great one just put it in and you dont have to touch the dial , everysong on here has something different to offer."
Sublime wanna be.....PLEASE!!!!

"Alright now, i'll be the first to admit that Pepper's style had to be influenced by great reggae/rock bands like 311 and Sublime. Then again even 311 and Sublime had to be influenced and I'm sure if had to come from the god of reggae Bob Marley who really carries this movement. But I must say that Sublime's style is something of the past now and Pepper's style along with a whole movement of new and upcoming so called DUB ROCK groups is a much more modern and up to date sound and to tell you the truth WAY BETTER THAN SUBLIME. there is no doubt in my mind that when it's all said and done Pepper will be viewed as a better group than Sublime ever was and i'm sick and tired of hearing the comparrisons to Sublime cause not all of sublimes songs were good and my opinion is that almost every song of peppers is good. Now i'll be a little more blunt about this subject. If you haven't heard pepper yet and you like sublime read this.....Pepper makes sublime sound wack! yeah I said it and I don't care what people might think about that but it's my opinion and that's how I feel. Some other great reggae/dub rock bands that you've got to check out are .......Madd Caddies.....The Expendables......Slightly Stoopid.........Passafire .....The Supervillians.....Tribal Seeds......Iration.....! These bands are starting a revolution/movement and it's not going to stop it will only grow with more and more listeners so please try it out and help spread the positive music"
