String of Whispers is the debut release from cellist Peggy Baldwin. You will be taken on a journey of warmth, relaxation and beauty as Peggy has explored the voice of the cello in unique musical settings. Peggy's haunting rendition of Pavane is complimented by her original compositions, Summer Day and Lucida Artista. Ms. Baldwin has proven her distinctive style on her originals as well as her cinematic arrangements throughout this cd. Peggy has shown her versatility as a cellist on numerous recording sessions for movies and has performed on several albums, including those of Kiss, Maroon 5 and George Harrison. Peggy has worked with a wide spectrum of artists, ranging from Dionne Warwick, Henry Mancini and Yanni to ELO, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder and Brian Wilson. Some of her TV appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, Sharon Osborne, The Dick Clark New Year's Eve Countdown, VH1 Storytellers and American Idol.
