Here we have a nice selection of soulful Tahitian songs, earnest and pure, sung in the original language and recorded in what sounds like the early 1960s. This isn't a touristy crowd-pleaser type collection, but a softspoken, sweet set of what was probably locally-popular songs. Here is the tracklist:
