French intrumental trad, infectious rhythms and melodies

"Bouffard's trio -- hurdy gurdy, French bagpipes, button accordion -- gives us the classic French Big Noise, but with an energy and urgency that I've never before heard. This type of music (French Country Dance? Massif Central? Auvergne? I'm not sure what it's called!) is hard to find in the USA so I don't have a huge amount to compare it to, but I can't keep it off of my CD player. I listen again and again and I want more."
