Synopsis

Album Description
Three monologues written by: Ruth Draper Performed by: Patricia Norcia Music for Track 1-3, "Three Women and Mr Clifford" written and performed by: Steve Lutvak 8 Tracks Total. Since 1980 Patricia Norcia has been performing Ruth Draper monologues around the world. These recordings join three of Miss Draper?s texts and Miss Norcia?s interpretations. "Three Women and Mr. Clifford" , a masterpiece of portraiture, reveals the wife, mistress and secretary of a Wall Street tycoon. "A Class in Greek Poise" leads a group of over-sized ladies through an exercise class based loosely on some of Isadora Duncan?s more fanciful notions. The lyrics of the "Four Imaginary Folksongs " are slyly satiric Gibberish dialects for which Miss Draper improvised melodies. Miss Norcia substitutes her own droning "Japanese Love Song" for the "Arabian Beggar Chant" droned by Miss Draper.
