CD ReviewsThe final Cherry Red re-issue from UK's The Passage L.R.S.A.N.I. | North America | 11/06/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "If you're already a fan of UK's The Passage (cousin of UK's The Fall) an intellectual, avant-garde progressive-classical-punk-rock (well, how does one properly describe them?) band of the 80s and 90s, era ... then this CD re-issue of 'Enflame', with its SEVEN bonus tracks, including 'Wave','Angleland','Song To Dance','Tattoo' ["....deemed unsuitable for broadcast by the BBC due to its lyrical content...." a fantastic track, by the way!],'Drugface' (alt. ver.),'Man Of War' (alt. 'live' ver.), and 'Sing The Praise' (an alt. ver. of 'Angleland') ... this CD is a MUST OWN. I've waited TWENTY years for this one, and it doesn't disappoint!! The 6-pages of printed notes included are also quite informative and welcome for us fans. If you're not familar with UK's The Passage, this CD is still of great historical interest and value ... but you may wish to refer to the earlier compilation entitled 'Seedy: The Best of The Passage'.
