CD Reviews

Way better than one star

"i usually dont write a review unless an album really impresses me, but in this case, i just want to defend P.A. against those who "vomit" over this album. that is not the case with me. in fact, i really enjoy most of this album. i don't like most of the music from down south (no limit & cash money), but i have a weekness for ATL rappers. outkast is the best by far, but i also love youngbloodz, jim crow, and goodie mob. P.A. fits right in here, and this album is a must have for anyone who likes those listed above. tracks 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, and 15 are all great songs and make this album worth picking up. its not one of the years best albums, but it is definately an album i don't regret buying. give it a shot."
Entertaining

"For anyone who don't know Parental Advisory's history, they founded T.I., Youngbloodz and Jim Crow. They are also part of the Dungeon Family with the likes of OutKast, Goodie Mob and Organized Noize. This release of 15 tracks where all but three are produced by P.A. Using a lot of live instruments and bouncing percussion, My Life, Your Entertainment has a lot to offer. Mello, that used to go by 66 Mello, leads the group to bounds with his versility and style on this entire lp. "U Got We Got" gets to the misconception of the south as compared to the other coasts. With Mello flowing "...everytime they see me I tell them that I'm broke / cause they see fat, rich niggas and think escape goat..." Craig Love produced the smooth, horn filled "Sundown" featuring Eightball that could have been an Atlanta anthem or a summer hit if pushed. "Problems" produced by Organized Noize where Mello and Big Reese check their problems they have with others. Just when you think it's all about pimping, "Dope Stories" and Cadillac's, "Entertainment (Interlude)" featuring the harsh poetry of Big Rube over a banging track. Don't sleep and let this album by this Atlanta trio pass you by, because it is entertaining."
