Pflaster | Jersey City, NJ | 08/19/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "The hooky, melodic lovepunk band Parasites, who did the bulk of their work in the mid-90s, have put out this gem of a new record. It is everything the Parasites used to sound like, but with much more polished production and greater guitar work.
As much as I love their older work, I'm going to bump this up to my favorite album after just one listen. The writing is better, the melodies ring more consistently, and Nikki Parasite is singing better than he ever has." |
