The finest in goth rock

"Stimulation Festival is more accessible than the group's earlier work (if you can find it) but no less scary. They are masters at phantasmagoric landscapes of effects, samples and electronic noodling. But they also have a sense of cultural appreciation, melody and they also know how to rock. The viscous mix of gloom, noise and power chords makes perfect accompaniment to a halloween metal party or as background music for fetish night at the local s&m parlor's dungeon room. Compared to the Pain Teens, Marilyn Manson is a crude punk."
