Learning to play the guitar at age six, he made his first professional appearance at age 12, and then moved to London in the late '60s where he played in a guitar festival alongside Jimi Hendrix in 1967. Since then, Paco has toured the world both as a soloist and an accompanist and formed his own flamenco company, annual guitar festival and the world's first university course on flamenco guitar at the conservatory of music of Rotterdam.
