"The title of this CD is "The Nelson Touch: 25 Big Band Hits 1931-1941." During the period from 1930-1940, Ozzie Nelson's band charted 25 "Billboard" hits. The first 19 were on Brunswick and the last 19 on Bluebird. The disk contains selections from both labels. I don't know what criterion the manufacturers use to determine what is or is not a hit, but in checking Joel Whitburn's "Pop Memories:1890 to 1954" I find that only seven songs in this compilation made "Billboard's" top 40."
25 band hits indeed, 1931-41

"This is a great cd, that features Ozzie Nelson leading a mostly hot dance band, the 30's sides are peppy featuring hot vocal refrains by the glamorous and rhythmic Harriet Hilliard. This cd has it's jazz content, only at times does teh music get sweet and sappy, but Hilliard's vocals make up for that. Ozzie's trying to be romantic Rudy Vallee style vocals are somewhat charming too. A great band, a fun cd, and as for the title these sides are all hits, in my book."
