CD Reviews

If you dont have this CD, you are missing out

"On this CD all the songs are really good, my favorite tracks are 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 they have a really good instramental song on here it is bad. There is also a secret song, you are suppose to play TRACK #99 then when on your CD player it says it is playing the song like on my cd player it has a counter, when it hits 2 seconds (can be any second) rewind then it will go into the negative #s then like at -1:19 I think stop or you will goto track 98 then let it play at -1:19."

"This is such a biased review, I almost feel guilty for writing it... nah. Overkill is one of the finest metal machines grinding away at our ears and at the non-metal friendly music world. Here, celebrating their tenth anniversary, New York's Overkill have gone through several shuffles in their lineup in the past decade or so. One constant remains... D.D. Verni and Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth. This duo is the essence of the mighty Overkill monster, and they take off the kid gloves with their first self produced album "W.F.O." "Supersonic Hate" is a mosh lovers delight. "Fast Junkie" is one of the coolest driving tunes around. The shredding double axe attack of Gant and Cannavino shines throughout this whole record. Blitz's vocals have never sounded crisper or cleaner and D.D.'s bass pounds heavier and heavier every album. Headbangers rejoice... from the underground and below comes the new kings of power metal."

"I honestly don't think I could have wrote anything more convincing. Do yourself a favor, BUY THE ALBUM. Set back and actually listen to the music and lyrics. Give nothing else your attention. You will only be amazed with their newer material. However this is still the best album, with the exception of I HEAR BLACK. Hopefully, you can read black and will buy it!"
