Album Description
The rarely performed complete works of Melchior Schildt performed on one of the most important antique organs in Europe, located in the Danish National Cathedral in Roskilde. Annette Richards is a professor and university organist at Cornell University. She has won numerous prizes as a performer and scholar, most notably at Bruges (1994), as well as fellowships from the Getty Research Institute, the Mellon Foundation, and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Recorded on the Raphaelis organ (1554/1654) of Roskilde Cathedral, Denmark.
