"Orangutang, a 4-piece from Boston, were definitely one of the most underrated bands of the '90's - and possibly THE most underrated hard rock band. This and their full-length, "Dead Sailor Acid Blues", are bursting with great, catchy, snarly hard rock/ punk/ pop masterpieces that might remind you of a party / brawl between Soundgarden with a sense of humor, early Joe Jackson with balls, or the Buzzcocks with better musicians..instantly grabbing hooks and firestorm guitars are anchored by a great, in-your-face rhythm section that rests right on the edge between classic rock crunch-groove and punk mania. And the lyrics are some of the greatest sarcaustic snark ever..dig this line from "SNAFU":

"The South burns as Sherman marches

while intestines churn under golden arches"
