CD Reviews

Wetton shines bright again...
ANTHONY GIANDILETTI | New Jersey | 05/15/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This CD is upbeat! The writting and music is outstanding. He takes ASIA's sound and adds a rythm and melody as not often heard by most progressive artists. This CD is a bit more popish that his other work but popish for all the right reasons!!! Wetton and Manzanera should write together more often. This is a breath of fresh air as compared to some of the less artistic, darker side of Wettons work in the past. Alan white plays drums on this CD and adds pazzaz to the songs on this CD!"
A Great Album Indeed...

"This particular disc of songs has all the ingredients of the best meal you may ever eat. John Wetton and Phil Manzanera prove right from the start that a great album CAN exist without all the hubub of publicity and marketing. Every song on this collaboration flows seamlessly and effortlessly as well, into a wave of colourful music meant for any Asia, Roxy music fan. It is a shame that these two gentleman are so under-rated. Their musicianship is flawless. I first heard this on cassette long ago when it was first released. While at a local record show, I stumbled on the import CD from a vendor in Ohio and immediately snatched it up. I highly suggest to any fan of this era to take a listen and add it to your collection...This album deserves TOP honours for all of it's facets, this diamond in the rough is truly gold."
