Ocean Sol is a group of seven musicians, who are writing their own original lyrics and music and performing in mid Michigan. Just months ago, a couple of friends were sitting around an apartment, having an informal guitar "jam session" they started to put lyrics and music together and soon grew into Ocean Sol, a blend of funk, grass roots, rock, and jazz that forms a unique, original Sol sound. Band members include: Lead Vocals: Brent Grunow, Brandon Reilly acoustic guitar, Kyle Lynes congas & bongos, Steve Burke acoustic guitar, Dan Burke bass guitar, Steve Hart violin, Jayson Harris percussion. The Band members are from Frankenmuth & Saginaw Michigan. Their first CD entitled Turn Around And Imagine It's You was recorded in just 10 hours on a shoestring budget in June 1999.
