Synopsis

Album Description

Nyree's new solo album is, as the title suggests, an intimate portrait of a woman. The songs on "bare" are a mixture of love, contemplation, and joy--stripped down to their purest form. Each song is recorded as one voice/one instrument, with Nyree playing piano on nine songs and acoustic guitar on two tracks. "I have a very strong vision right now for my music; to strip away instrumentation and production, leaving just the bones and flesh of the songs."

"This is a great album! I haven't taken it out of my CD player since I got it. Nyree's voice is amazing. It's passionate with powerful lyrics of strength. My favorite songs are "Wondering" and "Breaking Me". It's an album I can relax to and listen to all day!"
