"I've read quite a few articles about Arabic music, but until now I've not been able to get a good grasp of just what a maqam is. This CD explained it clearly and concisely. I find that I can now listen to Arabic music and it sounds exotic rather than alien to me.



Thank you, Mr. Badawi! The CD is rather short (only a little over 30 minutes in length), but the understanding I have gained from it was well worth every penny."
