"This is the first Nostradameus album I have bought and it is quite good. Nostradameus plays what I call power/thrash similar to bands like Nevermore, Angel Dust, and Iced Earth. This is not really for fans of Helloween and Stratovarious as the editorial states. Nostradameus is raw, aggressive, and much heavier than those bands judging by this album anyway. The first 3 songs are all very good. Opening cut 'Far Too Strong' has some nice atmosphere and is a clever mid tempo builder. Songs 2 and 3 'Randall Flag' and 'Those Things you Did' are speedy aggressive thrashers in vein of old Megadeth and heavier shades of Angel Dust. 'Revenge is Mine' and 'HMS Ulyses' are also highlights in the same mold. Nostradameus are doing there own thing and not trying to copy anyone else which is cool. The band is talented all the way around, good drums, bass, guitars, and vocals. The production by Fredrick Nordstrom is just masterful. Powerful and clear really helping the bands compositions to the max. Looking forward to future albums from this great band!"
