"The intensely Latin flavor of Noel's compositions is totally lost in this CD. The attempt to make this music accessible to international markets has gone entirely too far - one cannot recognize the doleful melodies of Noel: they are buried under voice acrobatics. And of course the superb poetry of the original songs is lost..."
