"These are interpretations of love. To hear the familiar Cole Porter that we knew and loved intact with the verse(which is usually omitted)is an added pleasure. All the great Cole Porter songs are here with that bewitching beguine beat. I always loved "What Is This Thing Called Love" but never heard the original verse intro sung before(although Vaughan Monroe sang a radio intro for the song) - it gives it a whole new meaning but the song is hauntingly beautiful like many other Porter classics sung here with such unaffected grace that your heart belongs to Joan."
