"Nicolas Matar is a type of DJ that one comes across by accident. As a former mediocre DJ I enjoyed the journeys by dj series with as climax the release of John Digweed. Some CD's indeed are timeless. But then in a record store I came across Nicolas Matar's Latitude 40 on the JDJ label and I fell in love. But life became sweeter when I bought the CD Tropicalism, by far the best release of the three options at this moment. It starts of like pure honey and takes the listener to places seldomly explored nowadays. The sounds are fresh and the CD is building to a climax and then reentering the honey like beginning. Although this CD is not on the JDJ label in my opinion this is the real journey. 5 stars out of 5 without a doubt. Nicolas thanks. Number 2 is my favourite."
