He is a master musician who is also great on soprano sax and on clarinet. Check out Au Privave on clarinet. How many clarinetists can play authentic bebop? This is a top combo -- Kenny Barron, Rufus Reid, and Dick Berk are a dynamite rhythm section. Randy Brecker plays fine trumpet solos -- but Brignola IS the main attraction. A mighty burner of a jazz CD -- not for the background music fans."
