"I saw and met Ned in New Cumberland, PA when he played at The Wire with Billy Mclaughlin. I was really surprised by how good this CD was. If you get a chance to see him play, do it. His lyrics are very intelligent and the music is well written and performed. I'm looking for his next release. Buy it."

"OK, so probably no one has heard of Ned Massey. Don't let that stop you on this one. The best I can compare this cd to is a mix between Springsteen/Dylan lyrics, and a little of today's music which makes for a great album. Usually, with every cd there's a few songs which catch your attention and they make the album. Well, every time I listen to this, I more fully appreciate a new song. It just keep getting better! Patrick O'Daugherty is lyrically brilliant, and well done. So Far Away gives a softly unique twist on a modern day love(?) story. On a good day...Every Damn Dog...Mess - It just keeps going! Take a listen to the clips - give it a shot. You'll be happy you did! Hope we hear more from Ned."
