"I saw these guys at a small venue in Greenwich Village in 1994 and bought this CD there. In subsequent years thereafter I listened to it a lot and kept my eye out for more, but don't know what came of them... They had an extremely fresh sound which has since fermented & I'm suprised not too have found more of them. I popped the disc in today for the first time in a half dozen years and it still holds up incredibly.... Great music, hillarious lyrics and brilliant resonance. I would recommend to anybody that appreciates a great deal of wit in their music.... Imagine if you will Zappa, Ween, Ben Fold's Five thrown in a blender with Syd Barret and a PHD in Literature. Well worth the seven bucks......."
Who are these guys?

"The one disappointment about this CD sampler is that there are only three songs on it. Where did these guys come from? Where have they gone? The music is experimental yet familiar in its craft. Complicated compositions performed with pop-authority and snap. Heady, psychedelic production values. Athletic, intoxicating, layered vocals. The songs string together in a hypnotic necklace, giving a sense of ease that is shattered once you attempt to hum along with the ingenious arrangements or challenging singing. I don't know if this band could ever perform live, but listening to this brilliant CD made me wish I could find out."
