"I first heard this GREAT recording better than 15 years ago...I was enchanted, and still am. Blues done right...that's rare, but that's what we have here.

Chesky is a small label that's difficult to find, but they are one of the two highest quality recording companies on earth. They did this well, because they do everything well. Sound PERFECT...always.

Alas I know nothing about this absolutely fantastic singer, or what happend to her in the intervening years. Heart ripped open, soul laid bare, wonderful use of a wonderful voice; that's "Blues", and that's this record. Grab this; you'll be glad you did, and sorry there isn't a whole lot more."
