CD Reviews

Very nice

"The Good Life is definitely a cd that will minister to all young people. It allows us to know that having a relationship with Christ a true relationship does not need to be boring. However, I do believe that there should be a difference in how our music sounds because the bible says in Lev 10:10 "And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean" you must be careful to listen to the words and not just the music for there is a message. Without an understanding of who God is, many youths who are not saved may get the wrong message on some of the tracks. Overall I did enjoy the cd and I credit this to my personal relationship with God because I could hear the message in the music. I would recommend this cd without a doubt but I encourage the listener to Hear the message in the Music and not just hear the music. Allow the words to minister to your spirit man and if you don't know Christ for yourself then allow them to help you know who God is!"
This is most DEFINITELY the best CD that NW&SOP has dropped!

"Let me be the first to say that I am one of Natalie Wilson & SOP's # 1 fans. I have followed them since their very first project ("Not The Same"...when they were "The Saint Paul Sounds of Praise Chorale). "Girl Director" was good, and it still gets play in my cd player, but they have really outdone themselves in "Good Life"! I am not too big on "non-musical" interludes-but the title track is tight...as well as "Free"---but my song is, "When you need a friend"--MY GOD---I was in the gym working out on the bike when I listened to that song 6x's in a row....I am almost got off the bike and went into a "mean dance!!!!"....LOL! That song ministered to me-BIG TIME!!!! I also like- Peace & Tranquility, People (that has a nice 70's disco feel to it), and Liquid Prayer---but---"When you need a friend" is MY FAVORITE!!!!!! NW & SOP---have done a fabulous job in ministering not only in the "Melody" part of their songs---but the "Lyrics" are a series of "preaching messages" within themselves!!!! Anyone going through "the fire"--"the process"--to reach their God given destiny---This choir from "Brick City" has definetely been through some "Real Experiences"....and now they are "Free"!!!!! This cd is Anointed & Bangin'!

"as everyone so far has said, this CD is off the hook, beleive it. i mean if i could give it more than 5 stars, i surely would cuz it deserves it. i honestly had never even heard of Natalie WIlson & S.O.P. until they performed at my church a few weeks agohere in Oakland & i was blown away. they turned it out. their performance promted me to purchase the CD "the good life" and it is just beautiful. a refreshing & original turnaround from the stuff thats on radio today--giving you some hip/hop/r&b flavor while never losing its Christian edge/lyrics and reminders of Christ. the ballads will bring tears to yours eyes (3:16 interlude, peace & tranquility, liquid prayer, etc), the production is First Rate, the dance tracks will seriously make you want to get up (the good life, Free, conquerers), the lyrics are origianl & the vocals...well, awsome. anyway if you are a lover of gospel and/or r&b/hip hop, this CD is a must."
