"I bought this set mainly for the rain cd. The thunder is nice and sounds good, but I was relieved to find the rain as billed -- just 50 minutes of rain. I like it because I often want white noise when reading or coding at work, but unfortunately 99% of all nature cds manage to throw in distracting music here and there, or the occasional screech of a bird. Those are nice, I suppose, but I prefer the pure white noise sound of rain.I do have to take one star off because there are easy to hear spots of the loop changing, but since I haven't found them to be too distracting, just one star. And the sound has done well to block out the extraneous sounds I was hoping to avoid [throw these in with a pair of the bose sound blocking headphones and the world seems far away [the goal some times when wanting to concentrate on something else :)]"
