This is not insane! What happened to Yellow?

"I have to give singer, Yellow, at least three stars for her voice. I am a long time fan of Insane jane and I was expecting something more hardcore from this new project. I think that Yellow has one of the most powerful sets of pipes on ANY female punkrock vocalist. But you would never know by listening to this. Don't go "Liz Phair" on your loyal female fans, who love you because your a bad ass chick, and turn into Averill Levign overnight to sell records. I think Insane Jane was way before it's time and your market exists today. I, still, play green little pill with the enthusiasm of a new cd that I can't get enough of it. Just recently, I played it for friends who were saying that Brodie of The Distillers was the best chick punkrock singer. I said she was good but sounded like Courtney Love ,minus the heroine. If they really wanted to hear someone with hardcore pipes I would play Insane jane. They ALL enjoyed it and thought it was someothing new. I pissed my pants when I discovered that Yellow had a new band and was excited to hear that she sounded "better than ever" because she wasn't screaming to be heard over the music.I always heard her just fine,so as much as it pains me, I'm not buying this cd. Yellow, I think it's time for a reunion album."
