Though comparisons to Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, and Mono are natural, My Education's sound and instrumentation truly are its own. 2006 finds My Education's sound evolving with new EP Moody Dipper and an August tour. The EP contains three new My Education tracks plus help from Kinski, Dalek, Red Sparowes, and Teith in the form of remixed Italian songs. Not being one to rest on its laurels or past achievements, My Education should be recording its next full-length release this fall.
