CD ReviewsA (ever so slight) step back for Mustasch JP | Macon, GA | 03/24/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "And that's only when compared to the masterpiece that was their last album, 2007's Latest Version of the Truth. This, their 7th album, is still excellent, tied with 2002's Above All as their 2nd best album (IMHO).
After 4-5 listens my favorite songs are Mine, The Man the Myth the Legend, The Audience is Listening and Damn It's Dark. Bottom line: Mustasch is a very good band. If you like good hard rock with a metal edge you certainly won't go wrong with them (a friend described them as "The Cult's Ian Astbury singing for Sabbath). But I'd start with The Latest version of the Truth and, if you like what you hear, then get this and Above All.
