A powerful new contemporary classical music that exploits instrumental extended techniques to the maximum, but is still very classical in gesture and development. They have their own ensemble and its obvious that they work closely with the musicians. Using sounds usually heard in free improvised music and noise and experimental, it is all completed composed in an organic style. The addition of Chris Cutler on percussion makes it that more powerful. Not for the weak, this is the most intense and personal music in the realm of classical music today."
