"The artists and selections are well-matched and the recording is superb. Some of the performances are knock-your-socks-off spectacular. Matt Zarley and Carolee Carmello, in particular, lend vocal power and emotion to their performances that should not be missed. Carole Cook has a comic timing that can not be topped. This is a wonderful couple of hours spent in the company of talent."
Disappointment!

"The various "artists" on thes discs almost without exception impose "style and interpretation" on thes songs to the extent that they are nearly buried under the egos of the performers. It is a tribute to Cole Porter's genius that some of his work survives the savaging of thes performers."
Passable

"this cd is ok. parts of it are priceless (david hyde pierce and "missus lounsbourogh goodby"), but other parts are skippable ("miss otis regrets is a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT, and "make it another old fashioned please"). they are funny, but personally, i expected something a little more classic. however, if you are a cole porter fan, you are not going to want to miss the majority of this cd."
