Brings back fond childhood memories...

"When I was a child my family had a 4-LP box set from Columbia House called A Treasury Of Christmas. Throughout the years those records were played until the grooves were worn through and I lost the music except for my memories. Over the years I've been trying to compile that set on CD.

That's when I found this disc. It contains quite a lovely version of Good King Wenceslas, among other tracks, that were on that set. I hadn't heard it in years and when I did it literally brought tears to my ears. Wenceslas is less than 2 minutes but is the essence of Christmas to me. It's a beautiful arrangement that brings back fond childhood memories."
