Synopsis

Product Description
Fact is, this rules, because vocalist Spice, also singer for what is perhaps this band's only competition up there at the apex, Spiritual Beggars, sounds like John Garcia (Kyuss), and more pertinently, because they're fast and rockin', a cross between Kyuss and The Hellacopters. Pure head metal entertainment, tons of variety, tons of beer. - Martin Popoff

Tasty rock and or roll

(4 out of 5 stars)

"well, i don't buy much stoner rock anymore. everybody got around to ripping everybody else off, and once you had a few essential bands, the rest was a waste of time. MRB, however, have a little more to offer than the regular kuyss/fumanchu ripoff.the sound on this album is really great. it's SO full. not that this is suprising for a stoner rock album, but i really enjoy this production! the other thing this album has goin for it is the vocalist. he's really beltin it out, and it doesn't sound really ordinary or copied. i dig his style. another thing that's great is that they slow it down at times, and write music that's not quite as "by the numbers" stoner rock. and the main reason to get music for the world beyond? it's the hooks, stupid..... i mean, man, it's just some smooth, catchy rock and roll. a nice addition to any rockin' collection...check out Mud-Crusher and More Beer....oh, the hooks!"
