(4 out of 5 stars)

"I've been a fan of Murali's music for awhile now. There have always been a number of highlights on each recording. The new CD is almost nothing but Gems throughout. From the opening notes I new that this one was something special. Blues,Rock,Funk, & Soul, it's all here. The music is tight with flawless production. Murali gets a boost from guest's (Dad )Larry and Joe Louis Walker, however he is in command in every respect. The three tracks with Walker are some of my personal favorites. There seems to be a chemistry going on, more than you get from a typical guest artist. I like the ballads I Could've Had You, and his heartfelt tribute to his mother Julie ( Mothers Day ). There is little not to be excited about here. Hopefully for Murali and many of his fans, this is the recording that breaks him out to a much deserved larger audience.
